Senior Tour FAQ’s

When & where do you sign up?

You can sign up over the phone or in person at whichever course is hosting the next event.

Do I need a handicap?

No, but it is helpful to have one to get started. We use only Senior Tour scores to compute your handicap each week. If you do not have a handicap, you can still play but we will need to know your average score. As you play in more Senior Tour events, your handicap index will get adjusted up & down based on your scores.

Do I have to play in every event?

No, you can play is as many as you would like. However, you do need to play in at least 6 events to be eligible for the Senior Tour Championship.

Do I have to ride in a cart?

No, you can walk, use a push cart or ride in a motorized cart.

Can I play with the same players each week?

No, you get randomly paired with the other players who signed up that week and we try to equalize the total team handicap.

What can I win?

You win gift certificates when your team plays well or if you win any closest to the pins and these are issued separately at each course that hosts an event. Those certificates can only be redeemed in the Pro Shop for merchandise at the course that issued them. We do run a cash team skins game for each event.
